Who We Are

Welcome to the Lake Minnetonka Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR). Founded in 2005, our chapter is named for historic and beautiful Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota, the natural centerpiece of the area we serve. Our members are from the west metro suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota, including our home base of Wayzata, and the surrounding communities of Minnetonka, Excelsior, Medina, Chanhassen, Chaska, Eden Prairie, St. Michael, and Plymouth, among others.

"We value education, historic preservation, and patriotism while working together to serve the community."

We welcome all women ages 18 and older who can prove lineal descent from a Patriot of the American Revolution. We are a chapter for all women –  working women, busy moms, active retirees, and you!
