Lake Minnetonka Chapter members recently volunteered their time to help remove flags from graves of the fallen at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. The flags were placed before Memorial Day and remained for a week, at which time they were removed and made ready for storage for next year.
We removed about 950 flags, and enjoyed each other’s company while serving together on a beautiful summer day in Minnesota.
